Alpha Sigma is excited to host another Significant Sig ceremony, this year for brother Chris O'Malley. After graduating from the University of Minnesota with honors in 1985, he immediately began his extensive career in the IT field. However, his professional achievements are only half of what he is being awarded for. In 1998 he founded the Christopher O'Malley Foundation. Every year since, this foundation has awarded one scholarship to a deserving student at the Mound-Westonka High School. Outside of, academia this foundation provides support for various youth arts programs in the greater Chicago area and to a number of Catholic charities. It is unmeasurable the effects this organization has had on the students and churches it has helped since its founding. For Chris we are eternally grateful.
